There are several outdoor parking areas on the hospital grounds.
Parking fees apply every day, around the clock.
See the hospital map for parking locations (ehandboken.ous-hf.no).
Payment Options
The hospital offers outdoor parking. You can choose to pay by card, coins, or mobile phone.
We recommend using post-payment or the EasyPark mobile app, as it can be difficult to estimate the duration of a hospital visit.
Post-payment
With post-payment, you use a payment card (e.g. VISA) to reserve an amount at the parking machine. If you don’t use the full parking time, the remaining amount will be refunded.
How to use it:
- Insert your card into the parking machine.
- Reserve an amount.
- Enter your vehicle’s registration number. No ticket is needed in the windscreen.
- When your visit ends, insert the same card into the same machine again to log out.
The benefit of this system is that you avoid overpaying or having your parking time expire due to delays.
You can also purchase parking time at the machine or via the EasyPark app (EasyPark adds a 15% surcharge for app use).
A third option is the EasyPark SMS service, which includes a transaction fee of 3% and a minimum charge of NOK 2. See instructions on the machine.
Rates
- NOK 54 per hour
- NOK 340 per day (24 hrs)
- NOK 1119 per week
EasyPark code for SSE: 3018
Valid every day, 24 hours.
Parent Parking
Parents, guardians, or companions of children admitted to SSE may park free of charge in staff spaces.
This applies if the child is under 18, is hospitalised, and you have received permission from Oslo University Hospital (OUS).
OUS grants one permit per patient.
Please note that parking capacity may be limited at times, and you may need to search for available spaces outside the main area near the parking garage.
Instructions:
- Park your car and contact the treating unit to confirm the child’s admission.
- Follow the instructions provided by the department to register for parent parking.
- No visible ticket is required in the windscreen. Your registration number will be recorded electronically, and you will receive a receipt via SMS if you provide your phone number.
- Already paid parking will not be refunded by the hospital.
- The permit is valid for 14 days. It is your responsibility to ensure the permit is valid before parking.
- Permits are not issued for patients attending day treatment or outpatient appointments, even if they attend frequently.
Other Relatives and Companions
Other relatives and companions must apply for reimbursement via Pasientreiser or a disabled parking permit from their local municipality.
Disabled Parking
If you have a valid disabled parking permit, you may use reserved spaces located throughout the area.
In addition, all paid outdoor spaces may be used free of charge.
The permit must be visibly displayed in your vehicle for inspection.
