Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common cardiac disease leading to increased morbidity and mortality. It develops when the arteries become damaged or diseased. Early and automatic detection of this devastating disease is obviously important in the acute phase, but also in chronic phases to prevent further progression of CAD.
