Forskningsaktiviteten ved KLB er tilknyttet European Palliative Care Research Centre
(PRC).

The PALLiON study – (Palliative Care Integrated in Oncology), a national cluster randomized trial on early integration of oncological and palliative care
Brain Metastases in Norway - A Prospective Cohort Study, a 2 year follow-up of patients with newly diagnosed brain metastases; clinical and treatment related patient self-reported data
MENAC - The Multimodal Exercise/Nutrition/Anti-inflammatory treatment for Cachexia trial, a large-scale international open randomized phase III multimodal intervention trial investigating the effect of a tripod intervention as early prevention of the development of cachexia
PARASTOP - Paracetamol with strong opioids for moderate to severe cancer pain
MyPath - To develop digital patient-centred care pathways with incorporated patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) for shared decision-making between patients and health care providers. The main ambition for the project is to deliver a sustainable solution for cancer patients for improved supportive, palliative, survivorship and end-of-life care. The innovative MyPath, based upon scientific evidence, will improve the quality of life of patients and family, promote patient empowerment and change the way healthcare providers work.
MATRIX – Multimodal Approach targeting Treatment-Refractory cancers using next-generation technologies and trials. The overall ambition to extend the lives and improve the quality of life of patients with hard-to-treat cancers.
