We are going to gather information about mental health in the Registry of Mental Illness and Addictive disorders at Oslo University Hospital (PHA registry). The information from the registry will be used in research and quality improvement.
Ultimately, our goal is that the registry's content will contribute to better health services.

Health registry
The Registry of Mental Illness and Addictive disorders (PHA registry) is a health registry where information on mental health is systematically stored. The registry is both a quality registry and a research registry.
The information in the registrywill be used in research on mental illness and addictive disorders, and for working to improve quality of health services. In both cases, our aim is that the registry contributes to better health services.
Registry for mental illness and addictive disorders
At Oslo University Hospitalat Division of Mental Health and Addictionpatients with mental illnesses and addictive disorders are assessed, diagnosed and treated. We will gather information on all the treatment and patients that get their health services here.
Please don't send sensitive information to the registry via e-mail. eDialog (see below) is an encrypted solutin for secure digital communisation with the hospital

You may withdraw your consent at any time. If you decide to withdraw your consent, there will be no consequences for you or your treatment at the hospital. You don't have to provide your reason for withdrawing your consent.
Please, contact the registry at our postal address to withdraw your consent. Another option is if you have a personal electronic identification for digital signing, such as BankID. Then you may also use the encrypted message solution, eDialog for this. See how below.

If you withdraw your consent, we will delete all data related to you from both the PHA registry and ongoing research studies where your data is included. In addition, any biological material (for example a blood sample) from you donated to NORSMI biobank will be destroyed permanently.
Anonymous data used in previous research projects cannot be deleted, but the information will not be used in any new studies.
If you withdraw your consent, you will receive a confirmation note when all your data are erased.
Below, and on the NORSMI biobank website (in Norwegian), you can find and overview of projects that have received data from the PHA registry. Patients from Oslo University Hospital that have given their consent, may be included in some of these studies.

Psychiatric and cognitive factors related to course after transplantation- a real-world descriptive study

Short description of the study: We study patients undergoing psychosomatic examination as part of hospital assessment before transplantation. All participants must have signed a broad consent before November 2024. Our goal is to analyse the relationship between psychosomatic factors measured before transplantation and the course after transplantation. Pre-approval from REK 729657.

GenSUD: Unlocking Genetic and Trajectory Insights into Substance Use Disorders through Extensive Biobank Sampling

Short description of the study: The aim of the project is collecting information about patients from different sources. We will compile the information using secure and closed AI algortihms. The compilation can give clinicians a better basis for choosing treatment. No new data is required from thos who consent to this project.
