Section for Youth Substance Use Disorder Treatment

The Section for Youth Substance Use Disorder Treatment is a service for patients with addiction disorders aged 16-26. We offer assessment and treatment in a residential unit, outpatient services, and horse-assisted therapy.

The Section for Youth Substance Use Disorder Treatment offers assessment and treatment for young people struggling with substance challenges and mental health issues.

We are located in a rural setting in Oslo, at Gaustad Hospital. You can find us in building 22 and building 23. The stable is directly connected to the main building, where you will find our horses.

The section is led by Torkel Bekkevold Hansen.

You have the right to receive information about your health, illness and treatment in a language you understand. As a patient with a limited knowledge of Norwegian, you are entitled to an interpreter in your preferred language.
