Planned Activites – Nordic NOIR
The network will continue to grow through active participation from the Nordic community, and Nordic NOIR welcomes new ideas and collaborations.
During the project period, Nordic NOIR will organise
- national network meetings in Norway
- Nordic collaborative meetings linked to existing IBD conferences
- international workshops and scientific discussions
- mentorship and exchange initiatives for younger researchers
- collaborative project development and grant applications
2026–2027
IBD Symposium, Oslo, September 4, 2026
The NGF IBD Symposium brings together clinicians and researchers to discuss the latest developments and future directions in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). With a focus on “Keeping up the pace – the future in IBD”, the symposium provides an opportunity to share new knowledge, discuss challenges in IBD care and research, and explore future approaches to improving patient management.
IBD Nordic, Malmø, November 25–27, 2026
The IBD Nordic Conference brings together clinicians and researchers from across the Nordic countries and beyond to discuss the latest developments in inflammatory bowel disease. The 2026 meeting, themed “Shaping the Future of IBD Care: From Science to Clinical Impact”, will focus on translating new research and advances in IBD into improved clinical care.
NGF Annual Meeting, Lillehammer, February 11–13, 2027
The annual meeting of the Norwegian Gastroenterological Association (NGF) brings together gastroenterologists, researchers, and other professionals to present and discuss new research and developments within gastroenterology. The meeting includes scientific presentations, abstract sessions, professional discussions, and opportunities for networking.
