Department of Ophthalmology 

The department is by far Norway's largest eye department and has special competence in all areas of the profession. We feel a special responsibility for the development of the profession locally and nationally, and the department emphasises research at a high level. The department has three national functions and several multi and regional functions. More than 50 doctors work here and treat patients with various eye disorders.
