The department treats cancers in the female pelvic region.
This comprises cancer of the uterus and cervix, the ovaries including hereditary cancer, the vagina and the vulva.
We also have a national responsibility for cancer originating from placental tissue, for fertility preserving treatment in cervical cancer and for surgical treatment in cases of cervical cancer relapse.
