The Regional Department for Eating Disorders has a research team, as part of the Competence Center. The research team was established in 2005, under the leadership of professor emeritus Bryan Lask. Øyvind Rø, Md./ PhD. has taken over the leadership from 2010. The team consists of 10-12 members, and has 10 ongoing PhD. projects. The Mentalizationproject under the leadership of professor Finn Skårderud is also linked to the reaserch team.
